Over the last 20 years, Chad Brown has explored and engaged many varied media both individually and collaboratively. As a painter, Brown works primarily works in oil and watercolor. He uses the blurred nature between the concepts of abstraction and representation to explore the space between the subjective and objective. Allowing the work to lean one way or the other, the artist finds that each individual piece settles into a means of communication to the viewer. He engages the elements of people, nature, and manmade environments. He is deeply interested in the universe and our human experience with it. Art is boundless as it reflects and inspires this experience and our consciousness of it.

Brown is originally from Texas and currently resides in Las Vegas, NM. He received his BFA from the University of Texas and MFA from UNLV in Las Vegas, NV.
